The Procedure
In most cases, the lesions are removed under local anesthetic while you are awake. Most patients find the experience pleasant and comfortable. After the area is frozen, Dr. Abedi will remove the lesion and send it for analysis. Small sutures are placed which are often removed in 1-2 weeks depending on the site. Dr. Abedi will provide you information on post procedure care and follow up. She will also institute a specific scar management plan to ensure scarring is kept at minimum.
